Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and

  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels, ensuring understanding of safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and environmental protection measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into new projects, processes, and product designs, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organisation.
  • Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of EHS data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, third-party consultants, and internal stakeholders on permitting, compliance reporting, and environmental remediation projects as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS inquiries, concerns, and reporting, fostering open communication and transparency across the organisation.
  • Lead emergency preparedness and response planning efforts, including the development of emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and crisis communication protocols.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and committees focused on sustainability, risk management, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.

Minimum of [X] years of experience in environmental health and safety management, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001).
