I have over 10 years’ experience in retail recruitment and specialise in hiring for beauty and fashion brands, from sales advisors to area management.

The best part of my job is getting to know candidates. I always take the time to build a good rapport with them so I can understand their motivations and ambitions before I present them to a client. There’s no point in trying to push round pegs into square holes — that doesn’t benefit anyone. 

Clients and candidates know they can contact me anytime — my phone is on 24/7 — and I won’t stop until I’ve found the right person for a position. I take a consultative approach, working with clients to explore where they may be able to flex on their briefs to find the best candidates.  

When I meet my clients for the first time and get to know their business, I let them know that I focus on quality over quantity – on finding the right people rather than just filling quotas – which I know they appreciate.

I started my career in retail. I’ve found that having shop floor experience with brands such as Zara and Selfridges gives me a good understanding of clients’ expectations and challenges. 

Away from recruitment, I’ve got two boys and spend every weekend taking them to football!
