I recruit for roles across all levels and all aspects of manufacturing, from design to production to continuous improvement, health and safety, operations, maintenance, facilities and more.

My recruiting career happened a little bit by accident. I’d studied law and completed my legal practice diploma, but when my traineeship fell through due to the property crash in 2008, I switched into recruitment. I had some knowledge of engineering, so that became my field.

I love working in engineering and manufacturing. The people are direct, honest and they’ll tell you exactly what you need, so you’re never in any doubt about the candidates they’re looking for, whether it’s a senior manager or production operator.

After more than a decade in this market, I know it inside out. My clients appreciate how hard I work for them and the results I deliver. Ultimately, they trust me, and that is why so many of them come back to me again and again.

As a Zachary Daniels partner, I manage my own recruitment area, but having the ZD brand behind me is important for me and for my clients. They know there’s a whole organisation behind me and that means that when they work with me, they benefit from the marketing, tech and job board clout ZD brings to the market.

Away from recruitment, I’ve got two wee boys, so they take up most of my time. If there’s any time left, I might fit in a visit to the gym or go to the football once in a while.
