Cerys Savage

When I joined Zachary Daniels I was planning to specialise as a recruiter. When the admin side of the business needed some extra help I volunteered and things just evolved from there.

Today, as Business Support Manager, I support the day-to-day work of the recruiters and the running of the office. I’ll support Zac and Danny and take on the tasks that don’t need to be on their desks, or I’ll help any of our divisions. Currently that tends to be our Head Office Team but until recently it was Retail Ops.

I love what I do because every day is completely different. I get to work across every part of the business, acting as the sort of glue that helps pull everything together, which I really enjoy. Everybody comes to you. Everybody leans on you for advice. You feel like a crucial part of the business, and I love the fact that I’ve been able to carve out this role and make it my own, which is one of the best things about being part of Zachary Daniels.

ZD feels like a real family. You all work hard, but we play hard too and everyone’s got each other’s backs and helps one another.

Outside of ZD I love walking my two dogs (I’ve just got a new puppy), I love getting out and socialising, and I love my holidays!
