Jackie Turner

I am the Finance specialist with ZD’s London team. With 20 years’ experience I have a lot of experience managing large and small teams, recruiting Transactional, Part Qualified and Qualified levels. For the last 12 years I have specialised in Retail, Consumer and FMCG, working with start-ups, SMEs and FTSE Global 100 companies.

I am also known as the ‘unicorn finder’ — the person who finds the talent for roles that our clients have struggled to fill.

I really am passionate about what I do. I’m excited by my work. I love getting under the skin of the businesses I help, and I care about achieving the right results for everyone, always going the extra mile in supporting my candidates and clients. I listen carefully to what they say, so I can see things from their perspective, pick up on their cues and read between the lines to deliver exactly what they need.

I am proud to have some very special long-term relationships that have grown from placing people in their first ever finance role. Some are now FDs and need my help to recruit into their team. In other cases, I worked with talent early in their career and now they are heading up large talent teams! I’m happy to say many of those people have become friends over the years.

I joined Zachary Daniels because [founders] Zac and Danny gave me the platform to build ZD’s London presence, which really excited me. What stood out from meeting everyone was to be around such amazing people. I have learnt so much from every person in the team who specialises in every area possible in the world of retail. I love how we all work closely and support each other. We all celebrate each other’s hard work and each person has fantastic energy which is why ZD is a really special place to work!

Outside of work, I love running, friends and family time and being at home with my little dog Rambo, my chickens (the girls) and my cats.
